Play It Again Sports evened its record to 3-3 on Monday night with a dramatic come from behind victory over division rival Advanced Embroidery. Trailing 4-1 with two out in the bottom of the fifth, Derek Estes walked, then Tedaro "bear" France was hit by a pitch setting the stage for Terrence Mudie. Terrence Mudie smashed a double to left scoring two runs and taking third on an overthrow of home making the score 4-3. Then, starting pitcher Thomas Crabtree singled to center scoring Mudie to tie the game at 4-4. In the top of the 6th, 12 year old undrafted call-up Stefan James shut the top hitters of Advanced down to set up the win. Domenic Cugini walked to start the bottom half of the 6th. The next batter Nick Cugini worked a walk as well. After two consecutive strike outs and a pass ball Domenic Cugini moved to third. Todd Kourafas then came to the plate with the winning runner on third and two outs and the ball went passed the catcher to the backstop scoring D Cugini with the winning run. " The kids needed this one after a few tough losses" coach Ruberti said. Game balls went to Thomas Crabtree and Stefan James. " Stefan has been outstanding. we have put him in very difficult situations and he has done the job every time." coach Cleary said. In there next game, Play It Against Terrence Mudie is scheduled to take the mound on Saturday, May 19th at 9: 00 am against Wynn and Wynn.

Ryan Palmer picked up his first Major League Division victory.
Butler Sporting Goods 12 - John's Collision 1
Max Willman went the distance and shut down the John's Collision offense. Patrick Besse played exceptionally well in rightfield, robbing Mark Lambert of a sure double. Lucas Reidl made an incredible diving grab in centerfield for John's Collision. Marc Catanzariti took the hard luck loss on the mound in spite of a solid effort.

Wynn & Wynn 7 - Rotary Collision 0
Sam Telman threw four strong innings and Damon Blake closed it out on the mound for Wynn & Wynn in a 7-0 combined-effort shutout. Wynn & Wynn's victory was bolstered by an opposite field home run by first baseman James "Jimbo" Burke.

HYANNIS, MA — In an emotional Opening Day Ceremony at Lyndon P. Lorusso Memorial Field Saturday (April 28), Scott Finn, son of the late Editor-Publisher of the Cape Cod Sports Report, Frank R. Finn Jr., tossed out the ceremonial first pitch.
Due to the slated beginning of new construction at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Memorial Skating Rink, the "Major Leage" field used by Barnstable Little League since its inception in 1952 will no longer be used.
Lorusso Field has been used by the Minor League Division of Barnstable Little League for the past five years.

Centerville Dental's Pat McAvoy struck out 10 batters in the loss, but Advanced Embroidery's Alec Morrison proved too much for the boys in red & white.
Rotary Collision 6 - John's Collision 2
Chris Harris (1-0) went the distance for Rotary and the win, while John's Collision sent out Darien Kaski, Marc Lambert, Conor Walsh and Danny Walsh.

Nine-year-old Ryan Dombrowski spun a masterful web Sunday in the Opening Day for the Minor League Division, striking out 16 of 18 batters en route to hist first-ever no-hitter. The precocious southpaw needed just 77 pitches to complete his 6-inning masterpiece. The one run came on an error.
